Why is it that all over the country senior portrait sessions are a huge thing… except the northeast. On Long Island, when you mention “senior portraits” people immediately think of senior citizens! LOL! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, that’s a different category that’s overlooked too! Generations Portraits are a beautiful way to preserve your family history. How many generations does your family span at this time? 3? 4? Maybe 5? Another wonderful type of portraiture is “Grandma & Me”. That’s a special session that shows the bond between a grandparent and their grandchild(ren). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those are amazing too, but what I really wanted to talk about now are high school seniors! All over the country, it’s a really big thing! The high school senior is treated to a session that’s all about them! They dress up… and they dress down… and they dress in their school or sport uniforms. It’s an amazing way to celebrate your child and make them the center of attention for a day, with amazing images to cherish for a lifetime!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Self esteem is delicate at this age, for both girls and boys. A photo session that’s all about them can really help boost their confidence before they go off on their own to college! It can literally change the way they feel about themselves! I don’t know why it hasn’t caught on here as the right-of-passage it is elsewhere in the states, but it should!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
