Our complimentary Pre-Session consultation will help you plan your wardrobe and provide other helpful hints for a great photoshoot. During your session we guide you through the beautiful poses that make you look your best. At your Image Selection Appointment, you'll laugh and cry tears of joy, as you view a lovely slideshow of your session images. You'll have fun using our “star-rating” system that makes it really easy to narrow down your favorites, and then we'll help you choose the products that most enhance them. Very simple! You'll never be left to fend for yourself, overwhelmed by hundreds of snapshots on a disk, with no clue how to proceed. We want you to enjoy beautiful portraits on your wall, not be stuck with a disk of snapshots in a junk drawer. The fact is that 95% of people who buy digital, never print! That's why we have a whole generation who has reached adulthood with NO images of their childhood. Our Ready-to-Hang Portraiture saves you and your family from that heartbreak.
3. Approximately 25 hours of work goes into your job, from start to finish. This is NOT a load of amateur snapshots burned to disk same day. We carefully cull the outtakes and duplicates, leaving a set of the best of each pose. These “Artist's Selects” are lovingly edited, retouched, and artistically enhanced by Jo Anne herself, to create individual works of art. There is no automatic “batch editing” nor outsourcing overseas. Jo Anne also creates every album page as a unique piece, never using templates nor automatic layout software. Each page is created from scratch, specifically for your precious images that will adorn it.

We use only professional labs to assure you top quality products. Professional photography is a luxury, and as such, our overhead is high. We price ourselves in the manner necessary to sustain the overhead of a legitimate business, so that we can be here for you, year after year to capture your precious memories. Professional photography is not a commodity, like corn or oil. You are hiring us to create beautiful, unique works of custom art just for you. All of this requires an investment of our time and money. You are probably surprised to learn that your session fee does not even cover our basic operating expenses to produce your session. So, we actually start out by making an investment in you! Why?
